• Born in Santiago, Chile- raised in Chicago
• one of the founding members of UCB (Upright Citizens Brigade)
• SNL' s first Latino cast member
• joined cast in 1998 (same year as Jimmy Fallon) as a featured player
• Notorious for making Jimmy Fallon laugh during MANY SNL sketches
• Some of his popular characters/impressions, besides Gobi, are Frank (Boston Teens),Vasquez Gomez Vasquez, Gene Shalit, Saddam Hussein, Elton John, Mr. B (Wakeup Wakefield), and Ozzy Osbourne
• Movie appearances include "The Miracle on 34th Street" (1994),"Boat Trip" (2002), "Road Trip" (2000),"The New Guy" (2002), and most recently "Rebound" (comes out Summer 2005)
